Child custody and support can be two of the most divisive issues between parents in a divorce or any other family law proceeding. Massachusetts statutory guidelines for child support payments changed in January 2009. Having managed many child support matters since then, I am familiar with these new guidelines and can work within them to help obtain fair support payments for you and your child. In these cases, I work to present a clear picture of the income and financial situation of both parents to the court.
Modifications and Enforcement
After child support and custody agreements have been finalized, I assist parents with legal issues involving the enforcement or modification of existing orders. If more than three years have passed since a child support order, I can help you secure a modification that better reflects current circumstances. If you have not received your due child support payments, I can work to hold the other party accountable.
